Oracle DBA's to Snr level Dublin City Centre to €68k

Vantage Resources have a requirement for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to work on one of their client sites in Dublin City Centre.

You will have 5+ years project installing, upgrading, configuring, tuning and managing Oracle database products and Oracle application server products.

This project is a new data-warehousing project so experience with Data Warehouses, BI, OLAP, iAS, SSO and Portal would be an advantage.

Duties

Oracle database design

Installation and Configuration of Oracle 10g databases and Application Servers

Oracle patching

Cloning Oracle environments

Skill-set Requirements

5+ years DBA experience (9i / 10g)

Oracle Application Servers (9i / 10g)

Data Warehousing & BI (an advantage)

ETL (OWB an advantage)

Dimensions/Facts

OLAP Cubes

Discoverer (9i/10g)

SQL

PL/SQL

Experience with UNIX/LINUX based environments
