Vantage Resources are urgently seeking an experienced Java J2EE developer for a 12-month contract with a government department based in the midlands.
As an ideal candidate you will have previous experience in a Java development J2EE compliant environment with experience in development and deployment of Java Server Pages.
You will also have exposure to the following technologies
Entity Java Beans (EJB)
Struts
Javascript
Oracle JDeveloper
Your main duties working with the development team will include
Coding in adherence to the design and standard of the application in question
Fully testing the code both functionally and under load
Documentation including test plans, functional and technical specifications
Your data modeling skills and exposure to Oracle database integration, PL/SQL and SQL and experience in OOAD methodologies will also be highly regarded.
