Software Tester, Cork City South, Permanent Role
Our client, a major location services company, requires an experienced QA/Documentation Test Specialist, to work on testing developed software products for our client's high profile end user. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Tester to work on a key customer project for our client. This is a team-based role where you will work closely with the Test Lead in the execution of all test activities taking place during the System Test Phase.
Your responsibilities will include;Execution and maintenance of detailed test casesDefect logging and tracking of test cases through to conclusion
Ideally you will have;Third level qualification in computingGood analytical, problem solving skills and understanding of software conceptsExcellent understanding of the QA processes and methodologies in a software development environmentExperience of a variety of test tools including automated test toolsExcellent communication and report writing skillsDefect-tracking tools experienceSome technical writing experience is preferable but not essential
