Our client, a leading multinational software house is looking for Java support engineer application deployment engineer to join their dynamic service on demand team. They are pioneering the next generation of "Software as a Service" products and this is an opportunity to work at the forefront of new technologies.
The Role
This engineer will have a cross discipline role working with both customer support and server development. Initially it will be a mix of development and support, with a natural movement into the development arena
You will need
Knowledge of Java development and object-oriented development techniques (including core libraries and design patterns)
Experience of some of the following: XML, XSLT, XPath, Spring, Hibernate, REST, Web Services, JMS, Wicket and ANT
Experience of working in a support environment taking customer cases from initiation through to conclusion
Experience of working in a development environment preferable an agile environment
