Reasons why IT contractors choose not to re-contract.

Through the website weekly poll, Vantage investigated the main reasons why IT contractors visiting our site decide not to re-contract when given an opportunity to do so. This article presents the results of that poll.

In the IT contract market, contractors often have the opportunity to re-contract with a client after their initial contract period is over. More often than not the contractor chooses to re-contract with the client, often multiple times, but there are times when a contractor chooses not to re-contract. In last week's poll, Vantage investigated the main reasons why IT contractors, who participated in the poll, choose not to re-contract.
