XTRAIN to .Net!! Are you a VB developer with just 2 years commercial programming experience and would like the opportunity to cross train to .Net ? Then we would like to talk to you ! VB developers required for long term assignments with a large Government department. Any .Net experience or course knowledge would be an advantage This is a leading development opportunity to work on large scale .Net framework projects. Initial 6 month contract with excellent renewal prospects. You need experience covering VB6 (and if possible.Net) ADO/ADO.net, Visual Studio and either Oracle or SQL RDBMS. Your previous assignments should have been in a Multi-tier applications environment using Exposure to enterprise scale solutions based around DCOM or COM along with any knowledge of WEB services and usage of XML, XSLD/XSLT NOT Essential . Apart from a strong technical ability solid experience of requirements gathering, design and testing phases would also be required.
