Senior Developers / Team Lead, Cork, Permanent

Vantage Resources are looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to work at their client's development and R&D centre in Kinsale, Cork. This Senior Software Engineer role provides the opportunity to work with a highly committed software development team, working on an excellent product on multiple development projects. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is a senior role where you will be reporting directly to the CTO and you will be responsible for the delivery of the overall product.

Your responsibilities will include

• Leading a team of developers
• Definition of overall architecture, programming standards, methodologies
• Best practices for designing, coding, debugging and testing
• Assisting team members
• Working with QA team

Ideally you will have

• 5 or more years experience as a software developer/leader in a product development setting
• Coding skills in either C++ /Obj-C/C# and/or Java/J2EE
• 2+ years experience in developing products for enterprise web based environments
• Experience of deployment of a high-availability systems support 200+ concurrent users
• Strong web UI design skills
• Experience with MySQL database in schema design and performance tuning

Team Lead Java/Tibco, Dublin, South Permanent

This is a technical role at team lead level where the candidate will be expected to direct the activities of the team as well as performing a technical analysis/developer role.
