Oracle DBA COntract 6 months + Athlone

Vantage Resources are seeking two experienced DBA for a high profile government department based in Athlone.

For the first role the candidate must have

• A number of years experience providing Oracle DBA support in a UNIX environment of which 2 years must have been working with Oracle 10g/11g. This experience having included planning and carrying out Oracle implementations and upgrades, implementing Oracle security (Auditing, SSO, etc), database monitoring, database tuning and optimisation.
• A number of years experience providing Oracle Application server support in a UNIX environment of which 2 years must have been working with Oracle 10g/11g. This experience to include troubleshooting client issues involved in connecting to Oracle forms applications, in so far as these problems relate to Oracle Application server installation and configuration.
• Good knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery using oracle RMAN and Dataguard
• Experience of working effectively within a team and of displaying good communication skills.

For the second role the candidate must have

• Good knowledge of Oracle RAC, including implementation, maintaining and troubleshooting RAC issues
• A number of years providing Oracle E-Business Suite Support in a UNIX environment of which 2 years must have been working with Oracle E-Business suite versions 11.5.8 to 11.5.10

C Developer on Linux Contract Dublin City

Vantage Resources are looking for an experienced C developer on a Linux platform to work on one of our client sites in Dublin city.

You will be joining an existing project in a team of developers already on the ground in a multinational technology company.

You will ideally have a number of years C development experience on a Linux platform.

Access/SQL Developer, 6 Month Contract, Dublin South

Vantage Resources are looking for an experienced developer to START IMMEDIATELY on one of their client sites in Dublin South.

You will be merging data from an Access to an SQL database using SQL DTS.

They are looking for a mix of migration and integration experience between Access and SQL Databases.

Ideally you should have:

• A number of years experience in a Client/Server environment consisting of MS Access and SQL
• Analysis skills to prepare specifications forms, queries, reports and modules, stored procedures
• Knowledge and experience of SQL DTS
• Any experience with Business Objects would be a bonus

Senior C#.Net Developer, 6 month Contract, Dublin Immediate Start

Vantage Resources are seeking an experienced C#.Net Developer for their high profile Pharmaceutical organisation based in Dublin.

This role is team based where duties will include application development and Integration using C#.Net using SQL Server and Oracle.

Ideally you will have

• Very strong previous experience with the following technologies: C#, .Net, SQL, Oracle and SQL Server 2000 & 2005, Java Script, ASP.NET
• Design, code, test and integrate web based, enterprise applications and feature
• Participate in the analysis and definition of requirements
• Maintain an excellent understanding of Current development technologies, tools and frameworks
• Agile approach to software development
• Worked on projects using Continual Integration and Incremental Development
• Worked on Enterprise Web based Applications
• Experience with Visual Studio

You will be self-motivated possessing strong follow through on analysis. Your strong communication skills and software development lifecycle experience and analysis will be highly beneficial.

AI Programmer, Contract, Dublin City Centre

Vantage Resources are looking for an experienced AI Programmer to work on one of our client sites in Dublin City Centre.

You will be joining an existing team of developers where you will be expected to be the Artificial Intelligence expert.

You will be participating in code/design reviews as well as working with other team members to identify, define and solve problems.

At the moment, the company are researching and engineering a number of projects involving Artificial Intelligence/Neurel Net design.

They are currently developing in .Net with SQl Server as a back end so any experience with these technologies would be desirable but not a deal breaker.
