Senior Software Tester, Dublin, Short Contract

Opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Tester to work on a key customer project for our leading international client. The successful candidate will need to have experience of testing web based distributed applications. In this senior position you will be expected to perform some test management duties and you will be expected to hit the ground running on day one.

Your responsibilities will include
Execution and maintenance of detailed test cases
Defect logging and tracking of test cases through to conclusion
Participating in meetings as required
Process improvements
Writing of test strategy and test cases
Managing testing phases
Providing quality assurance/test related support to Project Managers, Developers, Business Managers and users

Ideally you will have
A third level qualification in computing
Previous experience testing web based applications (.net on windows)
Proven experience in all aspects of testing (functional, non-functional, integration, regression, volume, performance, data migration, etc)
Application Testing cycles and methodologies

Your previous assignments will include experience of the full software development lifecycle, with an ISEB/ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing being a distinct advantage but not essential. Success in this role will expand your testing knowledge and experience with a first class international IT consultancy team. There is a high likelihood of renewal for the successful candidate. Oracle Application Developer, 12 month Contract, Dublin South

An Oracle Applications Developer is required to provide development, support and maintenance for new and existing applications and systems specifically those based on Oracle Architecture, for their large global multinational client based in Dublin South.

The Role
Take responsibility for the development, support and maintenance of Oracle based systems and applications within to ensure business service levels are achieved
Maintain and develop documentation related to designated support and development activities
Keep the Application Support Manager informed of any IS issues within the department which require attention
Communicate as necessary with relevant business users/dept heads with regard to change requests, queries and support related issues to ensure customer satisfaction
Participate in delivery of business/IT projects as requiredIdeally you will have
A strong technical knowledge of Oracle database applications/technology and must be able to work independently
Specific Technical expertise in Oracle Financials modules is required, to include some or all of the following (AR, AP, FA, GL, PA, iExpenses)
Previous applications development knowledge Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Forms, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), XML Publisher/BI Publisher
Strong working knowledge of Oracle workflow would be a distinct advantage
